The LMS Implementation Team working with K16 to complete a manual migration of all IC courses taught in Sakai during Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 semesters. When these courses come over from Sakai they will look different in Canvas and may have a different name because of the differences between the two systems and you may have to do a few extra clicks to get to them. As a reminder, student content does not migrate from Sakai to Canvas, since the information is tied to an individual, not the course.
If your course is over 2GB we recommend moving some of your content to an alternate platform. You can review the article How To: Retain Content Before Sakai Site Deletion with steps and alternate tools for storing your content.
Feb. 3, 2005Box ScoreBy Tony HaynesChapel Hill, N.C. - After coming down with the flu earlier this week, North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams arrived at the Smith Center with a 103 degree fever on Thursday night. Unfortunately for NC State, that was about the only thing wrong with the second ranked Tar Heels. Placing four players in double figures and getting 11 points and 10 assists from lightning-quick point guard Raymond Felton, UNC (18-2, 7-1) once again flashed its rather substantial firepower in a 95-71 victory over the Wolfpack (13-8, 3-5).This one wasn't much different than North Carolina's previous six ACC wins, which had come by an average margin of 21 points. Playing a near perfect opening half, the Heels took a 19-point lead into the locker room and never really looked back. Among other things in the opening 20 minutes, UNC shot 65.5 percent (19-of-29), hit 5-of-7 from the arc and scored 22 points off of 10 Wolfpack turnovers.Freshman sensation Marvin Williams, who drilled his first three shots from 3-point land in the first half, led the scoring parade with a career-high 20 points. Guard Rashad McCants added 18 points, while center Sean May chipped with a double-double of his own, scoring 16 points to go along with 14 rebounds. The offense was, of course, led by Felton who kept pushing North Carolina's high octane transition game, which took advantage of just about every Wolfpack turnover and missed shot, especially in the first half.\"You have very little margin for error against them,\" said Pack head coach Herb Sendek. \"We didn't shoot it in tonight, going just 5-for-22 from 3. We missed some other opportunities. That's a part of the game. To come over here and to expect to do better than we did, you don't have a margin for error.\"And every time NC State did make an error, North Carolina almost always cashed in. The Heels scored points after every Wolfpack turnover with the exception of one. The Pack finished the game with only 13 turnovers and just three in the second half, but by then, it was virtually too late.In pushing out to a fairly commanding 51-32 lead at the break, North Carolina made 10 of its last 12 shots from the field, including nine in a row at one point. On many occasions, the Tar Heels would simply pounce on a turnover or rebound a miss shot and use their superior speed to beat the Pack down the floor for layups, dunks and open 3s.When asked about North Carolina's fast break, the Wolfpack's Ilian Evtimov couldn't think of another team he's faced in his career that gets the ball down the floor faster than UNC.\"I don't think I have,\" Evtimov said. \"Georgia Tech is pretty good at it, but Carolina is by far the best in the ACC. There's a reason why they won the game by 20-plus points.\"After NC State had scored five straight points to close to within a 23-15 score midway through the first half, the Tar Heels got their running game in high gear. It started with Wolfpack freshman Gavin Grant allowing a pass near midcourt to slip through his fingers. North Carolina's David Noel came up with the loose ball and threw down a slam on the other end to start a 24-11 run that included those three 3-point buckets by Marvin Williams.\"Marvin's 3s in the first half were important to us,\" coach Roy Williams said. \"Raymond had one of his best defensive games and I thought did a good job of pushing the ball and getting us some shots. It's a very difficult team to play against and prepare for because they are unusual, but I was pleased with what our kids did.\"Over the first five minutes of the second half, NC State tried to make a game of it. Grant started with a 3-pointer from the left corner just ahead of the shot clock buzzer. Two free throws by Tony Bethel, a jumper by Grant and 3-point shot by Bethel helped the Wolfpack crawl back to within 12 at 55-43 with 15:43 left. But coming out of the official timeout, UNC quickly built its lead back up to 21 with a 9-0 spurt that included a Melvin Scott 3, a shot inside by Marvin Williams and a spectacular dunk by Williams off a lob pass from Felton. From there, NC State would never get closer than 18 the rest of the way.\"Our guys had 13 turnovers, which is a reasonable number here,\" Sendek said. \"If you look at some of the ones we had, they had as much to do with us as anybody else. We dropped passes and just had some miscues that were really unnecessary. I just think we need to guard better in the halfcourt. I didn't think we executed our offense as we are capable of doing.\"NC State, which shot 39.1 percent (25-of-64) from the floor, was led by Julius Hodge, who finished with 18 points and six rebounds. Bethel added 16, Grant 14 and freshman center Cedric Simmons a career-high 11 points. Simmons, who logged 28 minutes, also tallied six rebounds and three blocked shots.Seemingly shorthanded for most of the season, the Wolfpack was without Cameron Bennerman (elbow) for the fourth straight game. Also missing was forward Levi Watkins, who will be sidelined from four to six weeks after spraining the MCL in his right knee during practice on Tuesday. And perhaps more significantly, starting guard Engin Atsur, who was coming off a career-high 21-point performance at Clemson on Saturday, was only able to see 19 minutes of action on Thursday night after coming down with an illness on Tuesday. Atsur scored just three points and missed both of his field goal attempts.NC State will now set its sights on the second half of the ACC season, which begins with a home game against struggling Virginia Saturday night at 8:00 p.m.\"I really feel good about our chances in the second half,\" said Hodge. \"We have young Ced playing really good basketball; he's a beast in there grabbing rebounds left and right. Tony is back really running the ball well and he's a great leader out there. Young Gavin is playing well. We're going to continue to work hard and eventually we're going to be a team to be reckoned with.\"He can only hope the Pack will be a team to be reckoned with the way North Carolina was on Thursday night.Print Friendly Version var obj = {\"start\":0,\"count\":10,\"name\":\"story-template-boilerplate\",\"sport_id\":null,\"count_breakpoints\":null,\"css_class\":\"\",\"pinned_id\":\"\",\"extra\":{},\"context\":null,\"dummy\":false,\"type\":\"ads\",\"id\":\"c5722428-f5e8-4060-8813-c2f8284743b1\",\"data\":{\"location\":{\"id\":0,\"title\":null,\"type\":null,\"effect\":null,\"fixed_image_sizes\":false,\"excluded_sport_ids\":null,\"slick\":false,\"dfp\":false,\"sidearm_dfp\":false,\"common_page\":false,\"html_template\":null,\"name\":null,\"autoplay_speed\":0,\"accessibility_icons\":false,\"sizes\":null,\"slick_options\":null,\"dfp_sizes\":null},\"campaigns\":[],\"content_id\":null,\"content_title\":null,\"content_date\":null,\"content_url\":null,\"content_image_url\":null},\"mode\":\"web\"}; if (!(\"sidearmComponents\" in window)) window.sidearmComponents = []; window.sidearmComponents.push(obj); Related Stories and Videos var obj = {\"start\":0,\"count\":10,\"name\":\"story-template-general-2-1\",\"sport_id\":null,\"count_breakpoints\":null,\"css_class\":\"\",\"pinned_id\":\"\",\"extra\":{},\"context\":null,\"dummy\":false,\"type\":\"ads\",\"id\":\"2e325333-ddc4-49f2-b942-1af3d4c9c05b\",\"data\":{\"location\":{\"id\":48,\"title\":\"Story Templates - General 2 - Location 1\",\"type\":\"dfp\",\"effect\":\"none\",\"fixed_image_sizes\":true,\"excluded_sport_ids\":[],\"slick\":false,\"dfp\":true,\"sidearm_dfp\":false,\"common_page\":true,\"html_template\":null,\"name\":\"story-template-general-2-1\",\"autoplay_speed\":8,\"accessibility_icons\":false,\"sizes\":null,\"slick_options\":null,\"dfp_sizes\":[{\"id\":17,\"enabled\":true,\"breakpoint\":0,\"width\":300,\"height\":250,\"size_list\":\"\",\"unit_name\":\"/29658103/ncsu\",\"sidearm_dfp\":null}]},\"campaigns\":null,\"content_id\":\"story-template-general-2-1\",\"content_title\":\"story-template-general-2-1\",\"content_date\":null,\"content_url\":null,\"content_image_url\":null},\"mode\":\"web\"}; if (!(\"sidearmComponents\" in window)) window.sidearmComponents = []; window.sidearmComponents.push(obj); Related Stories 03.17.23
We're coming over for 3 weeks. We have a lot to pack in but have 2 days in Sydney. I want to get in a harbour cruise as it's the best way to see the harbour I'm told. Do we need to book it before we come or are the queues fast moving Don't want to queue half a day to get tickets as I don't want to miss any other things. What do people recommend -and what else should we see apart from the opera house, harbour cruise... giving harbour bridge walk a miss doe to vertigo. But is there anything I'm missing Thank you :) 59ce067264
